Accountability and DEI

What's my favorite word? You thought I was gonna say something else, right? Nope. Accountability. Anyone who knows me knows that is my favorite word by far.

I love this word so much, and it means so much to me personally and professionally. It's one of FIG’s core values. Having any type of DEI initiative, program, training, whatever it is that you've set out to do or said you're going to do without clear goals is pointless. As with anything else, accountability has to be a part of the plan.

If you are developing a new workout routine, trying to work on healthy eating habits, whatever the case may be, you have to have some degree of accountability, right?

Why would DEI be any different? 🤔
